Fair enough, I've never been able to have a decent conversation at motorway speeds either on my bike, car, or jumping out of a plane and being 2 inches from the persons ear. Good for you!

you don't need to hold a decent conversation. just get the message "YOU JUST HIT MY CAR, PLEASE PULL OVER" accross.

Well, the French are a strange lot.

I'm unsure as to just how you'd hold a conversation more than what GeX has said though, as you say it's not easy, I mean I find it hard IN my car, but then it's a rattly, leaky tin-can...from France

Good on the OP for doing something about it, even if it was getting a plate that came back dodgy. It was reported so at least the ball is rolling, even if it is slowly.

I was in my mates car a while back when a woman pulled out in front of him. She took his front wing off and carried on driving for a 1/4 mile down the road until she realised what she done. She said it was his fault because she didn't see him, but he mentioned the police and she soon changed her mind.
