hello people!
about 2 hours ago i was outside having a cig, admiring the sky (very clear tonight and plenty of stars) when suddenly i saw a dim light race across the sky. it was only there for a split second but it was moving incredibly fast. 'shooting star!' i thought (although a strange looking one because i've seen plenty before) but then it appeared again, a little further across the sky and this time it stayed in view for a good 3 seconds or so, still shooting across the sky just as fast as before.
any idea what it might have been? first of all i can safely rule out an aeroplane or anything like that. aeroplanes do not move that fast across the sky at that height. no way no how. i'd also rule out shooting star. it was almost a perfect circle, and, although i have no knowledge of the movements of shooting stars, i'm pretty sure no shooting star moves that far across the sky.
