Saw this 'lads pad' on rightmove

2 lounges, 2 dining rooms and 2 kitchens? why? its like theyve built the place as apartments but then just stuck them together as one big house with a duplicate of everything.

Yeah. It's like it was built to be 3 flats, but somewhere along the line someone decided to take all 3, and then be a div about where stuff went. If it had any sense, the top floor would just master bedroom, bathrooms, dressing rooms and a lounge / TV / small kitchen for the evenings and the office. A private self contained floor.

The middle floor should be all kitchen / bar / games / cinema and bedrooms for when you have your mates over.

The ground floor, big gym, swimming pool / steam room, cleaner's room and a garage.

It's too small for what it's trying to be. Where's the swimming pool? Where's the rooftop hot-tub? Where's the dumb waiter / service lift? Where's the taste?

it'd cost another £500,000 just to put it straight. Bananas.

yep.

The only sensible thing to do with it would be to turn it into 3 flats. It's worth about half the asking price, if that. There's some really nice property around in Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire for that sorta money that would beat that hands down.

Whoever's done that to it is an idiot :)

Who has £1.2M and seriously wants to live in Loughbourough?
Forget trying to market that, the only buyer is going to be another footballer.

Awful house, makes me dizzy.

ive been in houses similar to this helping my friend install alarm systems, they are usually owned by people who are not in the country often, but when they are have loads of people with them, so they take 1 floor the others take the other floors...

... i think id just hire a hotel though tbh...

tbh, id love a place like this, to entertain, but never to live in.
