Saxo VTR - Temping..

No mk2's came in mid v reg, 98bhp engine came in mid x reg. The 98bhp engine can be identified easily by the cat in the manifold and the more square shaped airbox.

The 98bhp came in during 99, W reg.

Some have a new front, 98bhp engine and the MK1 interior.

Wrong on all cases.

W reg is March 2000 to Sept 2000 for a start.

This is a very early mk1 interior. 96 to 98 (P-R reg)

This is the 98bhp engine, came in late 2000 (X - 53 reg). Notice 3 plug ecu, square airbox and cat in manifold.

There was some crossover bits, like my Dec 2000 X reg had the early mk2 vtr interior but the 98bhp engine. But the 98bhp engine did NOT come in when the mk2 shape came in. Nor did any mk2 come with the mk1 interior.

Snip...interior pics

I've never been in the market for a VTR and not really ever given them a second glance. I will now, because I am drawn inextricably to possibly one of the most hideous cloth designs I have seen.

I will not detract from the VTR as a whole as I personally don't like negative comments thrown at random about certain cars ("chav" , "hoes noes, it's a derv" etc), but Jesus Christ, please tell me there is a leather option with lumbar massage option.
