Ok I did finally do it. It's rubbish though because it is physically impossible on 90% of the grids, you just need to keep refreshing it untill you get one which has loads already full.

No its not, you just suck. The way the cat moves and the size of the grid means it is possible to box it in even if you weren't given any starting blobs -as long as the cat starts in the middle.

Really? I can't see how. I've done it loads of times now, so I know its actually fairly easy, but I still maintain that it can't be done on an empty grid.
