I've had 'Maureen' for several months now! I acquired her from a shop called Peacocks, after a Valentine Day window campaign. I kindly went in and asked the girls and one went into the back to find her rolled up for the trash and kindly gave her to me!

:D

I have to say that the new Air looks really nice, how are you finding the performance of it? If the price drops had happened before I bought my MBP I'd have been tempted by it.

Is the trackpad buttonless yet?

Could be wrong, but im pretty sure all the new models (bar the White MB, of course) are the new glass buttonless one.

It's a huge shame they haven't put the glass trackpad in the new MBA - it's absolutely gorgeous to use on my new MBP.

Performance side, I'm really impressed and thats coming from having an MBP prior. The help of the SSD is quite obvious, programs appear instantly with the icons never bouncing....

Strange as it might seem, flash heavy websites etc seem to load a lot better. Youtube has a slight more 'instant' playback? (Dunno if this is in my head, but I'm sure there is...).

HD playback, be that iTunes version or .mkv is brilliant as this was a concern of mine to begin with.

I downloaded FlatOut 2 Demo (Awesome game) and it played that at decent setting excellently.

The weight is less than I remember it when the first one came out. The build is very sturdy.

Two things that have quickly become obvious giving the purpose of the ultra light thin MacBook and that is peripherals. Not that I had many to begin with. Connecting my main source of storage (Drobo) obviously left me with no option for my favourite mouse, and as well as connecting my iPhone.

DroboShare is a must now, if I want to be able to move this laptop around the house or chill in bed then I'll need to invest in one. Also to that I'll need a powered USB hub for things like the iPhone/Mouse + USB Key.

Once these are sorted it'll be the pride & joy of my mac ownership (and that is or has been vast: Mac Pro, iMac's, Mac Mini, MB, MBP & know MBA!!!)
