I'm not really sure why this reorganisation of forum moderators needed to be done in this very public way. Why not just do it behind the scenes then announce the changes, rather than making it such a massive issue. The vast majority of posters here, i'm sure, really couldn't give a monkeys, and the whole thing comes across as farcical and rather embarassing.
Credit where credit's due but i don't get it. There's a business attached to this forum and this, to me, looks incredibly amateuristic.

The other option is lots of people go crazy and get themselves permabanned because they feel hard done by.
Worked out really well doing it this way and everyone who needed to know what was going on has been well informed where the general members who it does not necessarily concern have been given the opportunity to get a basic grasp of what is happening although not the reasoning behind it.
Personally I think this is much better than having it all completely in the dark.

All anyone saw on the forums was that Dons they liked and appreciated suddenly were without jobs and there was a number of protests and suspensions taking place. The explanation for the changes occured too far after the fact. "i should have been admin im a l333t haxor"
"why isnt such and such a mod anymore"
"did such and such get banned"
those threads would spur threads along the lines of
"why did my thread get locked"
"why was my other account banned"
"why is me mate dave banned"
"dictatorship 10101021ld om !~!!!!!!~~OMG WTF "

i think we get the point
its happened loads before and makes GD even more of a mess than it is
