So just upgraded from 5770 to 7970 and I had the bright idea of doing a clean driver install.

Put the new crimson drivers in v16 hot fix and now I can not get the screen to fit to my TV.

On the Old CCC i had the option to reduce this to 85% (off memory) but how do I do this in the new driver?

I have selected the GPU scaling to center but does nothing.

I dont seem to have any functionality on the new Crimson driver to change such settings

Any help would be great as driving me nuts

Thanks

Tried and not showing' I have used the uninstall app from guru3d prior to install.

I have gone back and clicked on the advances options on crimson control panel but no options? Is this right or has the install messed up?

Also now when try to go Back and have uninstalled crimson the new CCC install fails and just installs all but the control centre ?

So drivers installed, but it does not install the control center on any driver I try...

CCC or Crimson. I have used the utility to make sure clean install every time

Any ideas?

Fixed it, had to go in to C:\AMD\WU-CCC2 and run the .exe file and it installed the Catalyst Control Center manually. This then made the control panel available to under scale the pic and fit my TV :)

When at 100% via the above method, the display screen was to big. I could not see the start button and some of my short cuts on the left hand side. I have to reduce the size of the desktop buy under scaling it down to 85%

Problem I had was the drivers would not install correctly and the option to under scale was not available.

Managed to install the control panel in the end as above :)
