I've been jumped outside the local train station on a couple of occasions by Eastern European sounding women, they come running over to you crying (crocodile tears) and claiming to need £15 or so for the fare to get home (Manchester etc).

The correct reply in cases like this is, 'You've escaped Manchester? What you need is congratulations, not £15!'

Probably better if its a scam than giving to a real charity, gotta love those 80% "admin" costs and 200k salaries for upper management.
