Scan to PDF

Can anyone recommend a free program that does this?

No idea of a direct program, but you could install PDF Creator, scan into Publisher or some random program that can print, and then use PDF Creator's virtual printer?

my scanner came with software for it
iirc open office has save to PDF

Scan it in as a TIFF format, then use CutePDF to convert it. This is the method i use at work.

Thanks for the replies. Another question though! When I scan it will it save each page as a seperate document? Ideally I'd like to scan a couple of large documents and save them as one file.

The method I suggested will do that, though you need a program which will save in pages, such as Word or Publisher.
