Hi,

Back in the PS2 days many moons ago i used to play silent hill which scared the crap out of me at the time. Are there any recent PC games which are scary ? Love a good horror game.

I don't understand why people find Slenderman scary, he's just a tall thin bloke in a suit that just appears and does nothing, the model used for Slenderman is just terrible, looks like something from the PS2 console era.

It is one of the newer scary ones, this gives you a good idea of the tone of it.

I've been looking for a scary game for a bit, but without monsters. The moment I see a monster or something 'alien' it takes 100% of the scariness away for me. Outlast started out really well and then got a bit silly.

Are there any scary games out there based on real life. Murderers or psychos hunting you?

I have the same problem with films!

Stalker! Some of the bits in the underground sections really put me on edge. Fear was awesome back in the day, shame it looks so dated now!

System Shock 2 with mods.

F.E.A.R & S.T.A.L.K.E.R (with mods) are also good suggestions.
