Surprised not to see a thread on this, although maybe a bit risqué due to the theme? Will be very careful in this post :p

Anyone else playing this? Had a go with a couple of mates on the demo last night and was a good laugh, so we ended up buying the full game, not sure how much longevity it would have solo, but it's definitely entertaining in co-op.

Got a nice little enterprise going so far, making ~£1.5k/day, but it's starting to get a bit chaotic keeping up with all the orders, and struggling to see how helpful the "distributors" are at the moment (probably a an issue with our understanding of them to be honest). We're still only on the first product, got quite a streamlined little production line going, and getting ready to increase our portfolio - as soon as we find a bigger production facility!

Graphically it's definitely not going to win any awards, although it does have a certain charm; I guess ultimately it's a management SIM, but the the physics/mini game based production tasks are a lot more fun than just clicking a "craft" button and waiting for a countdown.

I'd definitely recommend giving the "Free Sample" a go if you think it sounds vaguely interesting; you're limited to a smaller area of the map, but otherwise it seems to be a very open demo.

I think its next on my list, once I finally get done with GTA 5 (only started the single player when the updated version came out!)

Ya boi Asmongold has played it a good few days in a row now (admittedly with a break for monster hunter), and if you know anything about him then you know that means this game is special.

After watching the streams it certainly has a very particular charm, an all too rare thing.

It's nonsense though they both simulate real life, hows it going to be much different

most of the mechanics have been uised in games for decades, you can't copyright a game genre, and the other 2 mentioned games are asset flips anyway.
I know, when I read it I was, what a load of ********.

Just put 7 hours or so in the 'free sample' and thoroughly enjoyed it so decided to buy the full game.

It's good fun!

Ah the new fotm game.
its pretty fun and addictive though, can easy waste 30-50hours for 15quid.
for me time flies when I'm playing it, other people I talk to say the same thing, it shouldn't be fun but somehow the game loop ends up killing time so efficiently.
Even the skateboard feels fun it makes me wish it was more like tony hawks

One guy made it with a little help from friends for music and stuff.
Guy deserves all the sales he gets.

Exactly - it's even more fun when playing coop with a couple of mates which we've been doing!

As I mentioned above, it's very similar to Factorio with the whole "just one more thing" gameplay, except instead of optimising belts and factories it's:

"I need to log off and go to bed, let me just quickly replant those seeds first"
"Doh, out of seeds, better order some more"
"Oh, now I need to clean up the rubbish"
"Oops, need rubbish bags"
"Peter File wants 20 Kush, I can drop that off on the way to pick up the bags"
"Got another couple of orders, might as well do those quick"
"Plants have grown, quickly trim and pack those"
"Need more baggies, grab those quick, drop off another order on the way"
"Right, I need to log off and go to bed, let me just quickly replant those seeds first..."

Definitely - I'd seen a couple of vids on it and thought it looked mildly amusing, but the appeal didn't really connect for me until I watched the Neebs video of them playing together which (much like their fast food simulator videos) I found very entertaining.
If I still had a strong gaming group I'd be all over it.

Played it for an hour, it kind of reminds me of the busywork that basic VR games give you to do. Has that low budget atmosphere going on which I enjoy too.
It's ok but I don't think I'll play it for too long I won't refund it though because it's not expensive and it's just a little studio.

It will be very interesting to see if it's ever finished now or improved though now he's got the money because that may have made the person lose motivation completely

I lost over 6 hours to this game today. I'd argue that there is nothing ground breaking, particularly outstanding or new here but its packaged in an incredibly satisfyingly simple way. This game just seems to be scratching an itch I didnt know I had.

For £16 I'm very happy with my purchase.

In buying this game, I had no idea of its depth. I originally thought it was pretty surface level but there's a lot more going on than you first realise - don't want to spoil anything but there's loads of vids on YT.

I can certainly see why this game is so popular, I'm having great fun.
