Schedule 1

Playing the demo on the steamdeck it's hard to read text but it's still fun. Just a pity it doesn't cloud save I could play on both pc and SD. I'll probably buy it though.

Aye the demo doesn't have cloud save by the looks of it but the full version does.

You can also increase the size of the Ui in the settings.

Anyone bored of this yet? Watched a little bit of friends playing it etc but can't help but think I'll just get bored within a day or two?

You guys are crazy, it's just not worth it. It's a slippery slope, once you get the buzz of this lifestyle it is inevitable you are going to be drawn into doing it for real.
2 people on twitter are crying about an "indian dealer" achiev being racist...

In a game where you sell and get people addicted to drugs lol...........

yea thats the worst thing in the game apparently... an achiev for pick pocketing your stuff back.

most people probably get bored in 2-3 days, theres a lot of stuff on the roadmap that will make it more fun though.

I've put 64 hours into the game so far and haven't been bored. Felt a little grindy at one point, as I was raising funds, but still enjoyable.

I've only just got to the stage of employing people, so loads to do yet - haven't even experimented with the other drugs, beyond the plants.

Edit to add - I even like some of the music in this game, I'd listen to it outside of playing.

The music is really well done imo. Not too overbearing but I like the way it swells and dips out over time

I've only put in around 16hrs so far myself, thats pretty much over 4 long play sessions. I find myself getting very caught up in it when I play. Kinda got a nice routine going. Daytime for all my errands, restocking, planting etc. Night for all the nefarious dealings, I stack up all deliveries for the small hours and any goods from the warehouse I require etc.
I've just gone on a client recruiting drive and finding it difficult to keep up with demand now. Time to expand again!:D

Definitely not feeling it get boring yet, that said I havnt put in a huge amount of time but its still feeling fun. Also agree with the music being well done, hoping they add more variety though.

Just started making Meth so we'll see how that goes!

This game has just flooded back memories of an old Symbian game I had on either my N-Gage or Nokia 7600 at the time called 'Dope Wars'. Had to make as much money as you could within 30 days buying and selling narcotics.

This sounds right up my street so I think ignore rule 4 of the Ten Crack Commandments.

Don't let your weed game slip when you're setting up the meth. You run out of money pretty quickly. (Especially if you use employees)
Yeah mate, I'm keeping a good balance, not making a huge amount from Meth at the moment mostly due to the expense of the stations, only running two of each. Will scale up when the pseudo dealer offers the ability to buy in person. Weed is still my big earner.
Just relocated to a bigger premises this morning, might need to look into employees, its getting quite busy.

Yeah, the free sample hit the spot for me, as well.

After expanding operations into the docks I have started experiencing performance issues. Prior to moving to the docks I was sat at around 90fps but now it's frequently dropping to 30fps or so. After a bit of Googling it turns out quite a few people are experiencing the same thing - after expanding to either the docks or the barn - however different people say that the cause is different things. I was thinking that perhaps it's my long-in-the-tooth PC, but maybe it's not just that. Will scale back operations, see if I can get the performance back.

Have you checked Vsync is off? It was causing issues for me.
Cheers, just tested it and it does seem to improve things a bit for me, sitting at around 55fps now, which is much better but will see how I get on.

I should have probably come to that realisation myself, maybe I should stop consuming my own product so much :D
