School boy PSU issue

Just bought a second EVGA 560ti 448 core FTW GPU edition from the MM to go along side my current one in sli. Figured it was the cheapest option for a easy upgrade.

Totally forgot I have a Corsair CX 600 V2 PSU... Which if I remember corrently, only has 2 PCI-E connectors, thus meaning... I am 2 short!

It's brilliant, absolutely love it, beyond silent, really reliable. I want that again...

So, can you guys suggest something similar that will meet my requirements?

I bought an XFX 850 XXX a couple of weeks back and love it. At low power it's practically silent and is not much louder when gaming. Apparently it doesn't even get to full speed until you take it past 700W, which you are unlikely to do with two cards.

Yea... Might work, doubt it, but might! Worst case, no boot haha.

Saves me dealing out £100 on another PSU :(

Plus, the XFX is nice, but not what I would want. Would want to stay within Corsair stuff ideally. Their PSU's are just ace.

sort of, one i got for my ex gf used to "buzz" all the time :o

High-end Corsair and XFX XXX PSU are both Seasonic units...and believe or not, the Corsair builder series is actually a non-Seasonic unit of lower quality...

And to give an example...for a while in the pass, I ran my old Q6600 overclocked to 3.6GHz and my 5850 on a Corsair CX400W (unlike the new CX series, it was actually a quality Seasonic unit). While the PSU rated output can handle it no problem, but with it pretty much stressing to near the max load, and the fan spinned up to max and it was like as if it was trying to kill my hearing :p
