'Schoolboy Trader' - Is it Illegal?

I imagine the teens of today would probably then attempt to stab your/get their parents on you or somebody hard who they know. :p

And mattjd, my college is decent. They actually treat you decently, the smoking area has a shelter and everything. I don't smoke, and it's nowhere near any of the rooms or anything. But they wouldn't threaten to tell your parents, that's just pathetic. :p

My college is also a high school as well, I think the law is different because of that? A standalone college gets the same rules as hospitals I think.

He's selling contraband in a controlled environment, no different from an east-end cocaine dealer tbh.. :p

Yeah the fact that I have to walk through town to get home from work and not wanting to alter my course and add 5 minutes on it everyday for £5 whilst still potentially getting beaten up by their older brothers or them isn't worth it :p

Like people have said, selling of sweets and other stuff goes on in schools everywhere daily, this kid just got greedy and was packing the stuff, if he had kept it on the snide then he wouldn't of got caught :)

Guy in my year used to shoplift on his way to school and then sell it cheap to people at school... made a killing to, when anyone brought up the stealing he'd shrug it off with "they have insurance".

Clearly the kid is too open. He needs to keep it on the down-low. If they get caught with it, they don't know him and legs will be broken if the teachers get back to him.

Gotta love it.

Under 16 you don't have to pay NI, you may not have to register as self employed either for that reason.

The whole thing is ridiculous, he should be praised. It should be illegal for the school that his parents pay for by tax to suspend him for such activity.

The only reason he got suspended is to do with the whole healthy schools routine that all schools must follow by law.

He isn't helping.

Personally I think good on the lad, making a bit of dosh/wonga on the side.

Dudes used to do this at school all the time... This is some uptight shiznazzlat right thurrrrr.

Or something like that.

I need to set up a pyramid sales scheme and have a guy posted outside every school in Britain. Can probably make more than organised meth-amphetamine dealers ;)

People used to do this all the time back in our school, the "haribo man" as he was called used to bring a giant duffel bag full of haribo bought cheaply from some bargain shop for like 50p then sell them on for £1.

When I was at school I did the same with cigarettes, Made around £20-£30 a day easily, the kid isn't doing anything wrong

The school has a heathly Eating policy, I wouldn't like a kid of mine (assuming I had any) eating unhealthy stuff unless as a treat that I'd bought.

1.Have it with lots of prostitutes and keep the kids
2.Wait until the kids are old enough to sell sweets
3.Make them sell sweets at school
4.?????
5. Profit.
