Does it have to be a scooter? Not something like a rs50?
Strangely I asked my CBT centre this question and while they do mark down that you've taken the CBT on an automatic scooter you are legally allowed to ride around on a geared bike as long it meets the normal CBT rules.OP only has automatic CBT.

I can't find an official source right now though
Anyway doesnt seem like my place has any scooters online. Sure we got some in the showroom. If your local come have a look. Liverpool RD newcastle under Lyme 10 mins from OCUK
Gotcha. The only advice I can give is no matter how tempting please don't buy some no-name generic POS. Stick to the big Japanese and Euro names and you'll actually have a scooter worth more than scrap come springtime. And I think you can ride a geared even though you do the CBT on a scooter. I want a scooter anyway. I have no interest for geared.

Are you gonna be using is this winter? It's ruddy freezing out there, budget for some winter gear in your calculations. Buy good gloves. Cold, sore hands are a liability.

Did you do your CBT at Bryan's at the Britannia Ground? They told me this too, although I did my CBT on my YBR125.
