Hi guys.

I've been looking on the well known websites -

Autotrader
Motors.co.uk
Stuff4Sale
Ebay
Gumtree

Is there any other sites I may have missed?

Cheers

oh you guys...

OP: I have no idea how much scooters should cost but I know there's a few garages/dealerships who sell used scooters around my way, there might be some near you?

We told you to do a a geared CBT, right now you could be on a YBR125 or CB125 and they're easy to find and a million times better*.

*slight exaggeration

OP only has automatic CBT.
Strangely I asked my CBT centre this question and while they do mark down that you've taken the CBT on an automatic scooter you are legally allowed to ride around on a geared bike as long it meets the normal CBT rules.

I can't find an official source right now though

Anyway doesnt seem like my place has any scooters online. Sure we got some in the showroom. If your local come have a look. Liverpool RD newcastle under Lyme 10 mins from OCUK

Interesting, if you can find some sauce.

Perhaps I should have reprhased my point as:
OP seems to have an aversion to manual gears
:p

Cheers mate. I was on the CBT with a guy whos dad worked at DK Bikes. The lad used to be a motorbike racer or something.

I think DK might be out of budget for me, I only have £500 to spend on a bike.

And I think you can ride a geared even though you do the CBT on a scooter. I want a scooter anyway. I have no interest for geared.

Gotcha. The only advice I can give is no matter how tempting please don't buy some no-name generic POS. Stick to the big Japanese and Euro names and you'll actually have a scooter worth more than scrap come springtime.

Are you gonna be using is this winter? It's ruddy freezing out there, budget for some winter gear in your calculations. Buy good gloves. Cold, sore hands are a liability.

Yeah I have £500 for my bike only. Have some extra cash for a good helmet, gloves and other gear.
