Score about right?

Upgraded my pc 2 weeks ago and finnaly got round to benching it with 3dmark06. 1248*1024 with no AA.

Is the score about right?

3DMark Score 7746 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 3260 Marks

SM 3.0 Score 3513 Marks

CPU Score 2090 Marks

See sig for specs, everything is at stock.

ive got same cpu and gpu as you have, both at stock, ram is 2gb geil pc6400 and mobo is 680i, dont know if these 2 would make that of a difference, but i get 8500 in 06 with same settings as you, so id say maybe a little low, not sure

What could be causing it to be lower?

This pc is an all mighty beast compared to my old machine and it has run everything top wack with everything I've thrown at it.

Are you running 06 at 1280 x 1024 without AA or AF? Is the RAM on 1:1 with the FSB, and in effect underclocked?

For the cost of a £20 AC7 Pro, that conroe could be doing 3-3.5 easy...

I forgot to check my Nvidia control panel which was set to full AA and AF and set to high quality, my results are now as follows:

3DMark Score 8387 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 3760 Marks

SM 3.0 Score 3745 Marks

CPU Score 2097 Marks

Looks a lot more like it.

much better. i just ran 3dmark, and same thing as yesterday happened, its not letting me ckeck my results online. says application not found. can i check my score any other way

Yep, that looks right for yir setup Jond, now get the thing overclocked, pretty impressive what they can do

I have never overclocked before so I dont know how to do it safely.

What software and any guides to guide me?

Tbh I dont really need to overclock coz its running everything sooooooooooooooooo fast
