scout case ..light help...

ok, so i decided i want to add some lights onto my case..

i have a CM scout case..

but i dont know if Akasa products are good..

i plan on getting the item above but in red..am i making the right choice?... and is there any other things you would consider me getting to help with my case design?

I bought one of these a few years ago and it went pop after like a week of use. But I am talking when people first started putting bling in their PCs so I'm sure they have got better since.

Ive heard that red cathodes can have a more pink tinge to them. Take a look at the Lian Li led's, they should provide a good colour, use less space and power and be flexible. A bit more expensive though (also out of stock on ocuk)

ive come across them LED lights....just didnt like the design i guess =/

Take Reaper652's advice. I bought a white LED strip from OCuk the other week. Worth the extra cash. There brighter as well. a lot brighter.

I've had cathodes before, there crap compared.

really? mm....are they the only brightest LED strip?

or are there others types of LED strips too? .....just want more options to choose from xD

if not then il probably think of buying the LED strip then ..

You could make one for a fraction of the price if you are tech savvy, seen a few people doing that with very intersting results, like in the build log below. A very cool mb backlight.

I use Akasa white cathodes they produce really nice cathodes but in all honestly if your interested in blue cathodes then Sharkoon is the way to go.
