About two weeks ago i noticed a weird scraping noise whenevr i was braking or turned to the left. At first i though oh gosh new brakes ohwell. So yesterday changed the pads (didn't really need to they where fine) and though good problem solved, went and drove the car and the noice was still there.

I now think it may be wheel bearing on my left front wheel, how much do you think it will cost to get it replaced at a place like quick fit or is it so easy i could do it myself?

If it's not the brakes it could be a wheel baring. Check your discs too

It shouldn't be much to replace the wheel barings but don't go to Kwik Fit!

As above, DO NOT go to kwik fit or any franchised garage to get it done. Its a very hard job to do if you havent got the tools (especially being that its a front bearing).

Try and find some locally recommended garages for the work, but I should expect it to cost at least £120. Its a very long job as most of the front suspension has to come to bits to remove the hub so the bearing can be pressed in / out
