anyone ever had any of this stuff?

was in Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago and a bar owner told me about it, a couple of days later he brought some in and cooked it for us, he said "don't ask how it's made just try it" I did and it's lovely, tastes like a smooth spiced sausage meat

I must say I am glad I tried it before looking what it was

The description doesn't make it sound the most appetising thing in the world but it's certainly not as horrible-sounding as tons of other food out there.

That's basically haggis made from pig instead of lamb and with cornmeal instead of barley/oatmeal. having worked in a butcher shop, I can assure you there is a lot worse goes into some sausage type products ;)

Before supermarkets had most of their meat sent pre-packed from a distribution centre the stuff they put in to anything that required mincing would make your stomach turn.

Looks like it'd be quite good with a fry up. Slice of this, couple of black pudding, maybe white pudding.....gaaawd this is sounding good.

I heard of this when I watched a program about these morbidly obese people. They eat it because it's cheap but this woman was on dialysis etc and didn't eat well either. This was southern USA.
