I'm selling some used desktop PCs I want to make scuffs / scratches / marks look better. has anyone had any luck with this?

I notice WD40 makes a hell of a difference, but as it drys the marks come back. Is there something that dries to make a coating? I assume if i try and spray it black the colours will not match and ill need to do a half decent job of a uniform coating (I've never tried to spay paint anyting before)

I see lots of ways to fix car paint but the paint on pc cases is not the same

I imagine the wd-40 is temporarily filling in little gaps and making the scratch "smooth" as it were. You could either try sanding/polishing it back to smoothness, or maybe try a clear top coat of something, nail varnish if they are little? Possible silicone rubber spray (car black) could work, but it is obv designed for rubber rather than plastic.

Thank for the advice, that's makes me think really fine sandpaper.. And maybe the silicone spray.. I'll pick a test machine to experiment on..
