Scratch on chrome bezel on 3gs

Hi Folks

Tonight I have taken my iphone out of the incase slider and have i found it had done some scratch to my iphone which pees me off as i though the case was meant to prevent this. Is there some trick to remove the light scratch?
 
No. That is caused by trapped grit/dirt between the case and the phone.

You can use a fine sandpaper to scratch it all, and make it look like brushed chrome.
 
It might be worth trying some Cape Cod polishing cloths - I used them on the back of my iPod Touch when I sold it and it ended up like new.
 
Might pop down to some jewellers and ask them if they can try to give it a polish.

How about those glass polishing things you can get which you can attach to a drill to give it a polish?
 
I work in a glass manufacture site, and what you describe is what we do.

Essentially the operators apply jeweller's rouge and use a buffing wheel to remove surface scratches.
 
Cheers mate, where do you think I could get hold of that stuff? I've got a few swirls and a couple deeper scratches. Any particular brand of that stuff I should look for? Last thing I want to do is buy the wrong one or some crappy one and mess it up even more :o
