Scratch on rental car

i'd just run away, or claim it happened when you parked, or claim it was there when you got it.

i remember when we ran into the back of someone on the motorway in a rental cavalier. my dad told them it happened when it was parked
i think he only had to pay £20, although this was rather a long time ago

take it back slightly dirty and when its raining, and if they spot it say you did not know it was there and must have been there when you picked it up
worst is you will have to pay the excess

they wont notice at enterprise, they barely look at the car last one I had from there, they didnt notice the massive prang to the alloy

i cracked a wing mirror surround on my enterprise car

glued it back with superglue and they never noticed

I was bricking it when I took back my hire car in France last year. Bus basically drove down the side, mucho damage to the front bumper.

Dropped it back no one to check it in, left the keys in the box.

Got a letter 2-3 weeks later and my heart sunk. Opened it up and they charged me EUR 20 or something for not returning it back brimed with fuel. 10 of which was a service charge!!!

Lesson well learned always going to get the extra CDW next time as I may not be lucky!!
