Hiya all

I have 2 x GTX275's in sli and every now and then the screen goes blank for about 3 seconds then returns with my usual picture? Why?? I have checked my drivers and they are the newest ones supplied by NVIDIA and I dont have my cards overclocked either. Please help!!!!

What screen you running ?

Is this a 'new' development ?

It was working fine with ?? and then new cards?/new drivers?/sli?

Would be happy to help but a bit more background info. would assist.:)

p.s. would mention that some of the 24" Benq FP241 series could do this from time to time. I've got one myself and it does do it occasionally but it's not a common(e.g daily) occurence - usually coincides with being on internet (which may be a hint of one form or another;))

Hi. Im running a Samsung Syncmaster 2033sw on 1600 x 900 res. It has only just started happening to be honest but as ive just upgraded from 2 x 8800gts in sli could that be the issue?

i have had the same issue on my gtx295 ....every so often the screen goes blank for 2 secs .....may happen about once every 4 days or so ...god know why it does it ....it happens on vista 64bit and windows 7 64bit

Obviously you've not got the same problem as I have/had - I did a quick google for the same type of problem but applicable to your monitor to find nothing!

Seems likely therefore that its a gpu/gpu driver/motherboard/psu issue.

You say you were running 8800gt's in Sli without any problems - did you use the same driver with the new cards? Assuming that you didn't and assuming that such 'old' drivers will work with new cards then give 'em a go and if works o'k you know you've got a driver issue.

If not the driver then try each 'new' card on it's own . Obviously if both work fine independently it looks unlikely that the cards are your problem.

Cannot imagine it is either the psu or the motherboard BUT you never know. - can you try in a mates machine?

Am now running out of ideas :o:confused:
