Screen cleaning?

What sort of spray on and wipe off cleaner is best for cleaning smudges and general grime off the screens of my iMac iPad and iPhone.

I use Whoosh. Apparently it’s what they use in the Apple Store. I find it excellent.

They don't use Whoosh anymore because it destroys the coating on the screen.

Is that due to more devices having nano-texture displays or does it affect the standard screen coatings too?

I have used Whoosh or distilled/deionised water in the past, but it's probably worth sticking to Apple's recommendations if the coatings get damaged.

It started with the coating they used on the Retina MacBook Pro, so it's been almost fifteen years now. I think it took them quite a few years to remove it completely from stores but they've not used it in at least five years.
