screen display

Hi,

I have vista ultimate.

I use VLC media player to watch video files, now each time I open it up and play a movie, the movie is so dark, I noticed earlier today 1 out of my 2 screens had a really dark display so I readjusted the settings using nvidia settings and its fine now...

What has happened all of a sudden?

my movies are still dark

please help

Colour profiles? Have you changed any of those...

I do not have Vista, but in XP they are Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced | Color Management

It may be similar to XP, but not sure.

If you don't know what they are then it is highly unlikely that, that is the issue, but might be worth checking if there are different profiles.
