Screen Flicker

Hi all, new here.

I've just installed 2 x 8600GT graphics cards into my PC and enabled SLI. Now whilst playing games, I get this odd screen flicker, like a very quick flash. I have the latest gfx drivers installed from Nvidia and tried swapping them but nothing helps.

Whilst trying to run 3Dmark06 the picture on the screen is terrible, flashing, parts missing, I can only describe it like when you used to have to push the aerial lead back into the back of your TV cos it was hanging half out and the picture was awful!!

Any help appreciated.

You could try changing refresh rate of your monitor?

did you try this with the monitor? or tried wiggling the cable?

check the cards are correctly seated too.

Had to change my cable that sorted it.
