Screen is a little dark

Hey guys,

I bought an old (5 years) Hansol 920P CRT for £20 and on the whole I'm really happy with the screen, except it's a little on the dark side. Do you think it is just down to age (wear & tear ..)

yep most lightly ive got a couple of oldish crts and there all quite dark compaired to newer monitors

if you find you can not adjust it any higher and still seems dark you can get third party software programs that will let you adjust it even more from the desktop with a click of ya mouse

i used to use one but for life it i cant remember the name but knew you could alter brightness, contrast and gamma even in middle of a game with a cvertain key press.
