I have a new phone and it has one of those screen protective films which all new devices have. I've kept it on for now but is it best to remove it?

Also, in addition to the above, this phone has Gorilla Glass 6, if I were to remove the film, is there any point in buying a new separate screen protector for it?

I haven't used one for years. Unless you're careless with your phone its fine. I only use a case because my phone is too thin and slippy to hold without one.

As above, you'll still get the odd micro scratches. Gorilla Glass is good for drops but for scratches themselves it's not that good, so I usually apply a tempered glass protector.

I always have a screen protector on my phone. Simply because scratches can lessen the value of a phone so I'd rather pay a few quid to prevent that.

I usually have a glass one on my note 20 ultra but since I last smashed it a few months ago I haven't bothered to replace it and have found that actually the screen itself has been extremely durable with no scratching.

Do you keep other stuff in the same pocket?

Sometimes I do put it in the same pocket as my keys, I must confess. I try to avoid it though but I am not overly precious. I just have a silicone exterior case and its all good. I can't see any scratches even now if I angle it around in the light.
