Screen shot capturing tool?

Hi all,

Doing an install documentation guide and rather than having to screen shot a million pictures of me clicking next next next manually, is there some software that can capture the whole lot and then allow me to paste it in to the document in one go?

Do you have Windows Vista or 7?

If so use the snipping tool

I have windows 7 but I have to take a snip everytime. Basically, I want something that records the window I am clicking in

Camtasia studio is the best for that imo but not free, you might get some free ones called free screen recorder or something.

You could try Windows Problem Steps Recorder.

Click Start > Type psr

Or Start > Run psr

But as suggested SnagIt Camtasia studio and Wink are better options.

Ahh yes, PSR tool is a good idea. Thanks, completely forgot about that
