Actually hl2 can run higher res due to running at dx7 and being versatile like that

Usually anything between 30 and 40 with V-Sync off. But I play with Vsync on and it stays at 30, but sometimes drops to 25 now and then. But to be honest if there wasn't anything on screen showing me the FPS I probably wouldn't even notice when it dropped to 25.

Still not go on a OC on this CPU or GPU yet either.

Hoping that should improve things a lot.
