screen tearing during the most basic stuff

i assume it is called screen tearing anyway. when i was scrolling across a really big picture (~2550x1900) it was like one half of the picture was lagging behind the other half, making a very distinct line where the picture didnt match up. it happened while i was watching a very low quality video (and not scrolling) as well. i havent tried gaming recently, so i will give it a go now

graphics drivers are all the latest ones. anyone know how i could solve this, because its getting quite irritating

definitely happening in games as well

im going to try a driver reinstall just to see if it works, but i dont have my hopes up

hrm, now that ive done a clean reinstall of the drivers, going back to the picture where i first noticed the problem i cant find any screen tearing no matter how fast i scroll.

guess its sorted then. im very surprised that worked
