I just built a micro system after taking back a laptop that just wasn't for me after previously owning a i5 2500k desktop.
System consists of:-
Asus VX239H monitor
Asus Z87M-PLUS Intel Z87
Intel Core i5-4670K
BitFenix Prodigy M MATX Cube Case
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
Akasa Cobra Power 750W Modular Power Supply PSU
Crucial M550 ssd
windows 8.1 pro
Anyway for now I'm using the onboard Intel 4600 graphics , I have the hdmi going to my 1080 sony tv and using dvi to hdmi going to monitor.
When I watch a avi or browse the net I get a screen tear on the monitor but not on the tv, I have set clone displays with digital tv + monitor, if I set to clone displays monitor+digital tv then the screen tear occurs on the tv set.
I never had this problem on my old desktop system and the only difference was that I had a His ice turbo 6950 card inside and didn't use the onboard graphics.
Is this my problem that I need a dedicated graphics card, I was looking to put a card inside in a month or two, also what card would you recommend with a budget of no more that £150 and would this be better than my old 6950?
