From what iv read a lot of people seem to jave this problem with different settings and using different cards so i dunno if its the cards or something to do with the gameYes, came from an rx590 and now getting tearing. Haven't looked at it yet though.
Vsync make it worse in red dead mateTry vsync you might have to force it in your graphics cards control panel if the one in game does not work.
Lovely sounds like the games broke.Vsync make it worse in red dead mate

I just redid all them settings lets hope it helpsCheck your image setting in Nvidia CP, if it is not already, set it to quality. Solved some of my issues on RDR2.

60hz
My monitor is 4k but im playing in 1440p, iv limited the fps to 60 mate, could it be the GPU its self?60hz and how many fps are you getting? As you've put in a new more powerful card you'll probably be exceeding 60 fps. Framerates higher than your monitors refresh rate will cause tearing. Either use Vysnc or use the in game framerate limiter if it has one.
What resolution is your monitor 1080, 1440 or 4k?
GAmes dont cause tearing.
Have you got g sync set to full screen AND windowed mode?So im still getting screen tearing in this game so either its the game or my monitor

V sync makes it worseThen the only way you will not get tearing is vsync to remove it completely or let your frame rate run much higher to reduce the tearing.
Ok so in capping my frames seemd to have fixed it for nowThen the only way you will not get tearing is vsync to remove it completely or let your frame rate run much higher to reduce the tearing.
