I was playing Bioshock this afternoon for about an hour when all of a sudden the screen split into 4 diagonoly and each section went mental showing different colours and patterns. When I tried to Alt-Tab it went back to the Vista desktop but was still funny, I had to restart the machine to get it back to normal.
I went back into Bioshock afterwards and it was fine.
Does anyone have any idea why this might have happened??
Cheers.

maybe driver issue

I'm using the 163.44 I think it is, the one that came out for Bioshock.
Do the cards cool down quickly cos I installed nTune afterwards to get my temps and it read about 70C, that was about 10 mins after.

Could the card have temporarily popped out slightly? I know with my X850 when I used to switch the PC on I would get big white lines all over the boot screen and had to switch off and push the card further in as it would come out slightly :(

No chance of that, its never happened before and I dont get any symptoms like you described, plus the PCI-E slot has the clip at the end to keep it in place.
