i was advised to a while back aswell, but tbh i see my processor becoming very limited in the future, guess i can always see how my finances improve, off to uni this year so probably gonna work solid over summer

I'm firing up CO2 now, only an X850XT but it will give you an idea. I think the settings are maxed out anyway.

Couldn't catch the lovely Vomit effect, sorry....

Incoming!

Taking Fire

"Shell Shock" Effect

Sarge

Pretty Smoke Effects

It looks a bit rough but it's much better in game. Hadn't really played it since I got the new monitor and the high res was murdering the FPS, seeing as everything i could find was maxed out. Gonna have to cut back if I want to play it Widescreen in the future.

everything set to HIGH except shadows which are on medium. Very smooth in game - honestly! I would certainly lower the options if i didn't find it smooth :)

This is weird, i just though, what the hell with it and cranked em up all high and plays fine, maybe in the 30-40 fps but thats ok, i may take shadows off though like i always do because they look horrendous! Does anyone else get really pixelated shadows?

Just trying to remember if ive played bf2 since i got this new cpu???

^ Yeah, i get them a lot. I just disable them and enjoy the performance increase :p

Come to think of it, i always disable or have shadows on the lowest setting for 99% of games. (Apart from Hitman and Splinter Cell ;) )
