Screw Me!

It's been around 4 months since I decided to go down the water cooling route but last night was finally the night it happens!!!...or so I thought...

Of all the things to get caught out on, it turns out I'm missing some ****ing screws for the radiators!!! :(

Not exactly sure which ones I need so I'll list my specs so someone can hopefully point me in the right direction.

  • Mountain Mods U2-UFO Case
  • Thermochill PA120.2 radiator (old style)
  • Thermochill PA120.3 radiator (old style)

Please note that the old style Thermochill rads have different fan spacing to normal. I don't know if they also require different types of screws to the normal sort.

So to get to the point, my case is designed to contain the exact 2 rads that I have. I'm sticking fans on either side of them and need the screws to match that will hold everything in place. I'm really hoping someone can help! :)

Thanks for the info PaulyD. I've managed to find the screws provided with the radiators now, they are the same as the ones you linked me to. The longer of the 2 types works for fitting the fans onto the radiator fine. However, they are not long enough to attach the fans on the other side through the case (i.e. to hold the radiator in place in the case with the fans). I don't imagine it should be too hard to find a longer screw, but it would be helpful if you or someone else could link me to exactly what is required.

Aside from this is an issue causing me much greater trouble. Maybe I am being stupid but I can't see how I am supposed to attach the radiator to my case. Holding all the screws, fans and radiator in place whilst trying to tighten the screws in seems nigh on impossible. If I had some instructions I'm sure there must be a simpler method I've just not seen yet. Assistance here would be greatly appreciated.

Get a M4 tap to the fan holes that way they will fit better and you can get hold of a longer bolt.
