 Can't have anything these days can you? Not only has my S40 got two fat scratches down the side, someone has now decide to try and break into the boot of my car by hammering a screwdriver into the lock. Don't think they managed to get in but they'd be abit gutted if they did anyway as there's nothing in it. The lock isn't massively damaged but you can see whats been attempted, the lock also won't turn anymore but luckily its jammed open rather than locked so it can just be done via central locking.

Whats the best option for sorting this out, with it being to do with keys and that I'm abit iffy about what the best thing to do is, if you get what I mean

Unless you want a separate key for the boot? My brother had a different passenger side key to his driver side and boot before lol

Possibly, at least it did when I had to do it for one of my old cars. Mind you, Volvo are probably better than Ford and can provide a lock for your keys :D

Scort.

This is probably the cheapest option, just means and extra key on your fob.

Scort.

Hmm think I might go for that option. Take it I'm gonna need to go to a Volvo garage to get it sorted? Anyone got an estimate of cost?

Depends, if it's an older car, a Volvo breakers could supply a lock, then fit it yourself :)

Scort.

Is there any option for a keyless boot on that model? Just do away with the key hole altogether.
