Some how I've managed to break my LAN.

My current configuration is a Virgin Media Business router in modem only mode and an ASUS BT8 router dealing with ethernet and Wifi. I've tried factory resetting the BT8 and it shows a solid blue light which I think means it is in config mode but I can't seem to access its admin panel. I can access the VM router though so I'm sure what is happening on that front. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Connect to the Asus router directly via ethernet. Can you connect to the web interface that way? If not, we will need to go deeper: check the manual and ensure you are following the setup requirements. You might need to set a static IP rather than rely on DHCP to assign an IP for you.

If you don't have the basic IP configuration in place, your machine won't be able to connect to the router even if the web interface is up and listening for requests.

Thank you. I'm going to stop for tonight but I'll try those things tomorrow morning. I'll update the thread then.
