Yeah, well at least these days, previously TV companies stuck with shows through thick and thin. Unfortunately a lot of good shows are axed too soon.

Many just dismissed it after 7/8 because it wasn't as fresh as earlier stuff, but still remained one of the best shows on TV...it's all relative.

Don't know if anybody else saw Better Off Ted but it was actually pretty awesome! :(

I don't agree with your take on scrubs, its not that season 9 isn't fresh, its actually so not funny, and so cringeworthingly bad it needs to be put down rather than left to die on its own. Season 4 or 5 was the last half decent season, since there its been noticeably worse every season, season 9 is just not at all funny at any point. With 4 or 5 actually vile and detestable characters who can't act to save their lives, coupled with awful awful writing.... its painful to watch.

I think the last great episode of scrubs was years ago, it peaked at "gay chicken" and has been all downhill since then.

But I do agree with you on the other thing, Better off Ted was truly awesome, I mean, awesome. "just remember, smash him with a phone" is one of the better lines. One of the rare few shows where the kid, was actually brilliant(Modern Family falls into that aswell).

So many hugely better shows on, Community is better by far than the best of Scrubs, its probably the best new comedy to come in the past decade, its truly truly spectacular. Modern Family is pretty damn good, Cougar Town is surprisingly an excellent show that feels more like the fresh and original Scrubs, than Scrubs itself does now. As already mentioned Better off Ted was incredibly good, but never given a chance and canceled at end of season 2 unfortunately, well worth watching though.

This.

I started cringing at the humour from 6 really. Carla, Kim, Elliott and Jordan turned into annoying, unfunny ****s. (Carla and Kim were never really funny to be fair)

The humour just started feeling forced and badly executed. I still watch the first four seasons from time to time but I can't really take the other ones.

I disagree, i think it was pretty dam good up until JD's last episode.
Still far better than anything on the TV by far.

Anyway, this has been known for months btw :p
