Scrubs - does anyone else think it isn't even remotely funny?

I know that Scrubs is an extremely popular show, and I usually like most comedy programmes, but I just don't get why it's so popular.

I understand the jokes they are attempting to make, but they just strike me as incredibly lame and cringeworthy most of the time?

I've voiced this opinion among friends and they get rather defensive over the whole thing - "how can you not find it funny?!"

Admittedly, I haven't watched the series from the beginning, but I have seen entire episodes from various seasons - it doesn't seem remotely entertaining. Maybe I need to watch the first few episodes of season 1 to get a better understanding of it?

Does anyone else not understand what all the fuss is about?

No...

Although I must admit I don't normally LOL at it, it's more highly amusing than LOL funny if that makes sense.

It's never been laugh out loud funny, however I enjoy the light hearted life lessons it portrays in each storyline. It makes me smile more than it makes me laugh.

It used to amuse me for a while, there where loads of repeats all over a couple of years ago, got bored of it though.

I love scrubs. Up until about season 6 it's great. 7 and 8 are ok and 9 is pretty terrible.

As has been said it's not laugh out loud funny except for the odd occasion but it's generally amusing.

I have found it absolutely dire in the few occasions that I have been unfortunate enough to watch it.

Boring, camp and just a load of rubbish.

Pretty much this, it doesn't make me laugh like a maniac but it gets a smile.

TV comedy in subjectivity shocker!

Ignoring the most recent seasons (which are terrible), the first 5 were very good (imo), especially when you compare it to the likes of Two and a Half Men.
