Hi guys,
We're juggling some old SCSI drives around different servers at work and of course failing to plan any of this, found that one of the drives we want to use has an 80pin connector (the hot-swap style data and power connector) but the cable, card and other drive we're pairing it with has a 68pin adaptor. Both are U320 drives.
Now I know little about SCSI but I've seen adaptors at competitor sites for under a fiver that adapt the 80 pin adapter on a cheap looking PCB and into a 68 pin and a molex. Are these okay to use or am I likely to come unstuck?
