I'm thinking about buying a 2gig SD card for my IPAQ so I can store movies and mp3s on there.

On the site I'm buying from they have one 2gig one

SanDisk 2GB SD Card (Secure Digital)

and then another one that says:

OwnBrand (not saying who cause its a competitor) 2GB 66X SD Card (Secure Digital)

I'm guessing the 66x means its 66 times quicker memory.

What I'm wondering is; is there any point paying the extra tenner for the 66x given that my IPAQ only has a 200mhz processor. Do you think I will notice the difference?

One is 54 quid and one is 64 quid I'm just wondering which I should get.

so...I got the card and I'm having real problems with it. My ipaq 3870 will not register the card as a 2gig one, it shows it as one gig and no more. I put 1.5gig's worth of stuff on there and I cant access anything above the 1st 1gig I put on there :(

totally gutted. Dont know what to do about it. Is there anything I can do?

I'm running windows for pocket pc 2002.

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE :(

The card shows up as 2gig on both my laptop and my pc but the ipaq only sees 1 gig :(

Is there drivers I can get or anything or am I going to have to return the card?

The first thing to try is a firmware upgrade for the Ipaq, but it sounds to me as if it's hardware limited to 1gb (My camera refuses to take over 512mb).
If this is the case, then you're only option is 2x 1gb cards.
