Looks like this

p_SS30G2_b_sm.jpg

Has this

Intel core 2 duo/Intel Pentium D/Intel Pentium 4/
Intel Celeron D support
Intel 945G + ICH7
DDR2 400/533/667 dual Channel support
7,1 High Defi nation audio
Gigabit Ethernet
250w PSU

Will cost as little as

150 quid, on a straight $ to £ conversion, though perhaps a little bit more based on the UK's bloated rates.

When?

Approx week 42 was the answer I got from Shuttle EU. That's in 2 weeks time :D

Well I'm not sure of the exact specification atm, though at the price its going for I wouldn't expect it to be an excellent overclocker. We'll see, going by Shuttles records you should beable to get at least a small overclock.

Theres a lot more popping up on the web about this now, and it has its own Shuttle page. End of October is the release. I for one cannot wait, shame it very likely won't beable to push a 6300 past 2.2ghz-ish, but I guess that's still fast enough for me.

And 250w is more than enough for a 7950gt and conroe. G80 and R600 though, I'm guessing likely not. (if they even have single slot coolers)...

Which brings me onto my next topic, is there any all in one res, pump and rad that I can just sit on the desk, pipe it in through the empty pci slot so it'll enable me to fit a dual slot gfx card without cutting the side of the case away using a water block? The Thermaltake Tidewater (a similar thing to the cooling solution of Sapphires Toxic range) is too big, shame really.
Better still, I wish Shuttle would jsut swap the damn PCI-e and PCI slots around so I can get the whole thing in there in the first place!

End of the month. Around the 25th. I couldn't wait and went for the sn21g5 and a 4600+.

This thing wont beable to overclock conroes more than a few hundred mhz.

That 250W PSU will severly limit your GFX options won't it?

It wont power a 8800 series card, if you went to the trouble of cutting a hole out of the case for the to poke out. It'll do a 1900xt though, as well as every single slot card available atm.
