SE X1 launch

[Siliconslave]

Anyone know if O2 are going to offer the X1 on launch?

I'm imagining that their focus on the jesus phone might prevent them offering up any other smart phones but the free o2-o2 calls make it hard to get off their service without waiting till my gf's contract is up in 10 months or so

As much as I was looking forward to this, apparently it is to be avoided

The keyboard is severely lacking from what I have heard, but hopefully the final production models will have that and the other issues sorted.

I'm still going with a Touch Pro though

the touch pro appears to be basically the same phone (both HTC built..) but i guess the keyboard maybe different between the two... the general materials , screen and camera on the x1 are better though.

Camera is better, but that doesn't matter to me, and the widescreen res could result in formatting issues with 3rd party apps, though the extra pixels are nice.

X1 is taller and wider than the Touch Pro, but isn't as deep.

Actually, the camera is worse on the X1 according to early reports.
