Seagate 1Tb drive questions....

Hello,

I've got a single Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) disk in my desktop, do theses results seem correct ?

Its been in my desktop for around 7 months and been running fine for basic web/office stuff.

I've just started using VMware workstation for testing virtual machines and when installing or using vm's my system performance is terrible

Task Manager saying disk usage 100%, memory and CPU are good.

Just wondering if my disk stats are under par ?? or maybe just no good for running multiple VM's.

thanks for the reply, at least I know the benchmarks are acceptable.

poor disk performance when running vm's is annoying though
