Came to my Xbox One X, to find the external USB drive with a flashing blue read light, while the console was off.
I switched the console on, and the drive is not detectable/showing under storage. I tried a different port on the console, different USB cable and even an identical PSU from another Seagate of the same model. In fact I've switched to the other drive, a brand new 4TB Seagate, and all is fine. Therefore the console is fine.
I've plugged the drive into my PC, tried multiple ports, and the most I got was an unidentifiable disk in Disk Management, that flashed up for a split second.
Lastly I shucked the drive, took it out of the enclosure and connected it to my PCs sata. First PC wouldn't boot, and another PC just shows a partition (disk management) of zero kb, that nothing can be done with. I even tried AOMEI Partition assistant, and it was no help.
Is there any hope guys, or is it a goner?
