Seagate 7200.10 ... dying?

Well my seagate drive is playing up... sometimes it loads... other times it doesnt... etc and I want to replace it with a 1TB Samsung F1(or even a pair of them)... Is my drive really dying or am I overlooking something simple?

Have you run Seagate's diagnostics on it?

There are some tools on the Seagate site that will check for you, its an iso and you boot from it.

I had one of these that died as well, that's enough to put me off Seagate for life.

Around the time of mine dying I googled a lot and found that a lot of other people had drive failures.

Now using Samsung's as well.

Did you RMA your Seagate? If so... how was their service?
