Running a 3.0ghz socket 478 with MSI 875P Neo-FISR, have just installed a new 320gb 7200.10 drive and HD tach says burst speeds are at 3.6MB/s, the drive also runs incredibly slow.
Jumper is also set to the 1.5GB/s SATA capacity as the motherboard does not support SATAII. There are also 2 other IDE Hard drives in the computer, one as a master one as a slave (Both the IDE master and 7200.10 drive have a copy of windows).
Anyone have any ideas? Bios has been updated, settings seem to be ok and have installed the SATA drivers for the motherboard.
