Is the Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 HDD good or should I look for others?

WD for me, but can't say i've had any problems with Barracuda in the past either tbh

not a bad drive, and cheap too. I got one on a OC sale at some point, but i think they are <£80 anyway now, worth it for cheap storage solutions!

Putting aside the stats of each drive I do tend to go for a WD one as there support and returns is absolutely superb in every way. Hopefully you will never need either support or to return a drive but if you do the WD seems to come out on top every time imo.

Samsung are right down at the bottom in ther HD support in my experience.
